There's much more to a day at the beauty parlor than hot curlers and gossip. Southern Beauty documents the weekly Wednesday ritual of my 92 year old great-grandmother Nannie and grandmother Meemaw. Dirty jokes, over-medicated seniors and a whole bunch of Southern charm give viewers an inside and simple look at a vanishing ritual.
