EVERY BUILDING ON BURNET [burn-it] ROAD
Burnet Road (pronounced burn-it) in Austin, Texas has been called the ugliest street in the United States. It is often travelled but rarely thought about. Inspired by Ed Ruscha's 1966 study of Los Angeles' Sunset Strip, EVERY BUILDING ON BURNET [burn-it] ROAD is an accordion-fold book documenting every structure, space and landscape along both sides of the 14 mile road. Available Fall 2010
The book will be featured in the forthcoming VARIOUS SMALL BOOKS to be published by Steidl in spring 2012.
